Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation in February participated in the first SME’s Expo and Exhibition held at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi. The two-day event held on 24th and 25th February, 2020 was organized by the Nation Media Group as part of awareness creation and promotion of local industries and products. The SMEs Expo brought together over 150 local manufacturers and traders as well as international franchises who showcased various products and services and shared the latest innovations, knowledge and industry trends under the theme “Powering Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) for Growth”.
NTZDC showcased its corporate credentials including the milestones achieved in its complementary role in forest conservation through buffer establishment to protect gazette forests, tea processing and value addition through sales and marketing of Eco and Chabo tea brands.
