Forest Conservation
The Corporation was established by the Government of Kenya to enhance the conservation of forests and protection of the environment, to produce and market the internationally renowned Kenyan quality tea, to produce fuelwood that is essential in tea processing, to create jobs and earn revenue for the government.
Investment in livelihood
The Corporation undertakes various community initiatives in the zones aimed at involving communities living adjacent to the forests in conservation and income generation activities. In this regard, the Corporation supports various projects in thematic areas including conservation, education and humanitarian aid. .
Our community programmes have not only economically empowered communities living adjacent to forests but also greatly reduced their reliance on forest products for their livelihood.

Tea Factory between January 1st to 31st Dec,
2020 compared to 20,069,176 Kgs
processed in 2019.
